Dealing With Regulators in an Uncertain Environment

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

12:00 – 1:30 PM Pacific Time

1:00 – 2:30 PM Mountain Time

2:00 – 3:30 PM Central Time

3:00 – 4:30 PM Eastern Time

Not only is the operating environment for community banks difficult, but so is the regulatory environment.  More enforcement actions of all types will be presented to community banks in 2008 than in the last four or five years combined.  Regulatory approaches to banks that are in trouble, or are in perceived trouble, generally have been “shrouded in mystery.”  Learn how to deal with the regulators in this uncertain environment.  Presenter Jeffrey Gerrish, former FDIC regional counsel, will share insights gained from government and 25 years of representing community banks on regulatory issues across the nation.  Even if your bank is not having current regulatory difficulties, this seminar is an excellent way to learn how to deal with regulators if such matters arise.
